This replacement cartridge uses multi-stage filtration to help reduce chlorine, chloramines, taste and odor, sediment, rust, and select heavy metals (including lead), while the food-grade housing is designed to be BPA-free and resist cracking or leaks. It installs easily in EZ-Change style under-sink systems for filtered drinking water and ice, with a suggested replacement interval of up to 12 months or 2,000 gallons (whichever comes first; actual life varies by local water quality). It is a replacement for Culligan RC-EZ-1/RC-EZ-3/RC-EZ-4 and compatible with Culligan IC-EZ/US-EZ/RV-EZ systems, and it is also a replacement for Brita USF-201/USF-202/USF-203 and DuPont WFQTC30001/WFQTC70001/WFQTC90001.
